1. Scope

2. Construction and Material
1) Conductor
Our conductors are expertly constructed and primarily consist of class 2 compacted circular or circular strand conductors crafted from the highest quality copper or aluminium, ensuring unmatched performance.
2) Conductor Screen
For cables with rated voltages exceeding 1.8/3kV , we provide advanced conductor screening composed of non-mentallic materials, using either semi-conducting tape or an extruded semi-conducting compound layer, or a combination of both for superior reliability. These feature a layer of extruded semi-conducting compound, offering optimal protection and performance.
3) Insulation
The insulation is a meticulously engineered layer composed of premium extruded cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE)which ensures exceptional durability and efficiency.
4) Insulation Screen
For cables rated above 1.8/3kV , the insulation screening includes a sophisticated non-metallic semi-conducting part alongside a metallic layer, offering the choice of semi-conducting tape or an extruded semi-conducting compound.. The extruded screen is easily strippable, with bonded options available on request.
The metallic part, applied to individual cores for voltages above 1.8/3kV and on core assemblies for voltages of 1.8/3kV consists of smooth annealed copper tape. Alternatively, a copper tape screen, a layer of copper wire, a lead alloy, or a corrugated aluminum sheath can be provided upon request for enhanced adaptability.
5) Inner Covering or Separation Sheath
(for armored cables)
A robust PVC inner covering is applied beneath the armor unless a screen is present.
When the metallic screening and armor are of differing metals, an extruded PVC separation sheath is meticulously applied to maintain integrity and performance.
6) Metallic Armor
Armor, when needed, consists of a single layer of tough round wires or dual tapes crafted from galvanized steel, aluminum, or other non-magnetic metals. For single-core cables used in A.C circuits, non-magnetic armor like aluminum is essential to ensure optimum functionality and safety.
7) Outer Sheath
Every cable we offer is typically enveloped in a robust, extruded PVC outer sheath, radiating a sleek black hue, adhering to class ST2 standards. For those with unique necessities, we provide the versatility of alternative materials upon request. Choose from options like PE, polyethylene, or high flame and fire retardant PVC to suit your specific requirements.
8) Core Identification
Our multiple conductors are meticulously identified in accordance with the rigorous standards set forth by IEC60502, ensuring clarity and precision in every cable.
