1. Scope

2. Construction and Material
1) Conductor
Our conductors are meticulously designed, typically conforming to class 2, featuring compacted or circular standard conductors of premium copper or aluminium.
2) Conductor Screen
Every cable rated above 1.8/3kV is equipped with sophisticated conductor screening, which is non-mentallic and crafted from either semi-conducting tape or a layer of extruded semi-conducting compound, or an innovative combination of both options.

Our insulation layer is a high-quality layer of extruded cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), known for its exceptional durability and performance..
4) Insulation Screen
For cables with a rated voltage exceeding 1.8/3kV , the insulation screening is a sophisticated blend of non-metallic semi-conducting materials combined with a metallic layer, utilizing either semi-conducting tape or a layer of extruded semi-conducting compound. The extruded insulation screen is designed to be conveniently strippable, but can also be bonded upon special request..
The metallic component is meticulously applied to individual cores for voltages above 1.8/3kV and on the core assembly for rated voltage 1.8/3kV and features plain annealed copper tape. Alternatively, a copper tape screen, a layer of copper wire, a lead alloy, or a corrugated aluminum sheath can be tailored to your specific requirements.
5) Inner Covering or Separation Sheath
(for armored cables)
A robust layer of PVC inner covering is expertly applied beneath the armor when no screen is present.
When the metallic screening and the armor consist of different metals, an extruded separation sheath of PVC is meticulously crafted to separate these diverse materials, ensuring optimal performance and integrity.
6) Metallic Armor
The armor, when specified, comprises a single robust layer of round wires or double tapes of galvanized steel, aluminum, or other non-magnetic metals. For single-core cables, aluminum or other non-magnetic armor is essential to maintain efficiency and performance in A.C circuit applications.
7) Outer Sheath
Our cables are expertly equipped with a robust and premium extruded PVC outer sheath, exuding a sleek black finish (class ST2).
